2+2 agreements between technical colleges and 4-year institutions are commonplace. The three institutions of higher education in La Crosse, WI decided to go beyond the standard 2+2 by identifying the assets of their respective institutions, area non-profits and our broader community and working together as one agency to promote a culture of engagement and civic agency that transcends any one institution. Attendees will learn best practices in campus-community collaborations, including development of a taskforce, an online database, and utilization of engagement as a through line for transfer students. Attendees will work to identify their campus-community assets to build civic agency.
